2019'dan bu yana çeşitli üniversite ve kurumlarda geniş katılımla gerçekleştirilmiş olan Uluslararası Dirençlilik Kongresi/International Disaster Resilience Congress (IDRC), https://idrcongress.org/, bu sene ODTÜ'nün 70. kuruluş yılında ODTÜ Afet Yönetimi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezimizin önderliğinde 2-3-4 Kasım 2026 tarihleri arasında ODTÜ Kültür ve Kongre Merkezinde gerçekleştirilecektir.

Bu sene "Bilgi Teknolojileri Çağında Dirençlilik" teması ile gerçekleştirilecek bu etkinlikte bildirili sunumlardan oluşan paralel oturumların yanı sıra çeşitli tematik panellerin düzenlenmesi planlanmaktadır. Türkiye'nin birçok ilinden gelen çeşitli kurum ve kuruluş temsilcilerinin katılımıyla Afet Risk Yönetimi, Dirençlilik ve bu alandaki Bilgi Teknolojilerinin kullanımı konusunda hazırlanan akademik çalışmalar, projeler ve uygulamaların tartışılması öngörülmektedir.

Dirençlilik konusunda farklı disiplinlerden çalışmaların ortak bir platformda konuşulduğu ve tartışıldığı bir toplantı olmasını amaçladığımız bu etkinlikte Dirençlilik ana başlığı altında çeşitli alanlardaki güncel gelişme ve bilgilere yer vermek, yeni araştırma çalışmaları ve uygulama örnekleri ile Dirençlilik literatürüne katkıda bulunmak ve Dirençlilik ile ilgili ortak çalışma grupları oluşturmayı planlıyor ve sizleri aramızda görmeyi istiyoruz.

Bildiri özetlerinizi 18 Eylül 2026 tarihine kadar kongresistemi.com/idrc2026/ üzerinden gönderebilir ve bildiri/poster ile katılım sağlayabilirsiniz. Çağrı metnine ekteki dosyadan erişebilirsiniz.

Dear Members,

The International Disaster Resilience Congress (IDRC), https://idrcongress.org/, which has been held with wide participation in various universities and institutions since 2019, will be held at the METU Culture and Convention Center between 2-3-4 November 2026 under the leadership of METU Disaster Management Implementation and Research Center on the 70th anniversary of METU.

In this event, which will be held this year with the theme of "Resilience in the Age of Information Technologies", it is planned to organize parallel sessions consisting of paper presentations as well as various thematic panels. With the participation of representatives of various institutions and organizations from many provinces of Turkey, it is envisaged to discuss academic studies, projects and applications prepared on Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and the use of Information Technologies in this field.

In this event, which we aim to be a meeting where studies from various disciplines on resilience are discussed on a common platform, we plan to include current advancements and information in various fields under the main title of Resilience, to contribute to the Resilience literature with new research studies and application examples, and to form joint working groups on Resilience; hence we would like to see you among us.
